Our Tour de France

Départements+régions (France)

We begin in the northernmost tip of the country, a historical port of entry for the English speaker. From there, we journey west along the English Channel, then south along the Atlantic to the Spanish border. We hug the Pyrenees for our trip to the Mediterranean, where we’ll linger because the itinerary coincides with the late summer abundance of the local farmers’ market. Our course then takes a zigzag tour through the central regions, ending in Paris in February of 2021.

The Regions and planned schedule. Updates from The Proust Project will be published on Mondays.
